Welcome aboard Salty Rooster Farms — where sawdust flies, coffee stays strong, and every piece is built with a little grit and a lot of heart. Around here, “The Salty Rooster” isn’t just a name — it’s the spirit behind the shop. What started as a husband and wife crafting custom pieces for their own home soon turned into something bigger. Family and friends kept asking for their own handmade treasures, and before long, the crew at Salty Rooster Farms decided to share their work with folks beyond their own harbor. Each piece is carefully handcrafted in the “ship” — our humble workshop — using hand-selected wood, with attention to every detail, and plenty of time-honored hard work. From sanding and staining to painting and assembly, every board that leaves the shop has been touched by hand and built to last through calm seas and rough waters alike.

Custom Order Information

At Salty Rooster Farms, each custom piece is handcrafted and built to order. To begin a custom project, a non-refundable $50 custom design and scheduling fee is required. This fee will be applied toward the final balance of your project.

For larger custom builds, customers may also be required to cover the cost of materials prior to construction beginning. This helps ensure materials are secured specifically for your order and protects against project cancellations after supplies have been purchased.

Typical turnaround time for most custom projects is approximately 1 week, depending on project size, material availability, and current workload. Estimated completion times will be discussed during the planning process.

We work closely with each customer to discuss details, dimensions, finishes, and design preferences before construction begins to ensure the final product matches your vision as closely as possible.

Due to the custom nature of these projects, deposits and material costs are non-refundable once work has started or materials have been purchased.
